Ive been out of HD for a little bit, and trying to get back into Phelan right now but I keep getting declined for jobs im qualified for before the team actually hires a new coach.

Do you get declined right away these days if someone more qualified than you applies? Ive applied for a couple jobs that I am qualified for (which is every job that's been available in Phelan) and while the person who got the job def deserved over me due to lack of recent success and probably lack of actually playing recently as well. I've been essentially insta declined on 2/3 hours before either team hired anyone (and one of them doesn't have a coach).

So really just curious if that's how it works now, or hell maybe even that's how it always works and I never noticed in 17 years.
