Do promises to recruits (minutes/starting) follow through to their Sophomore-Senior years, or just that freshmen years? I.e., if I promise a recruit a starting spot and they get that their entire freshmen year, could they start to turn on me if they lose the starting spot in their sophomore year?

Just freshman year and only for the regular season. You can pull promises starting in the CT.
