Rookie question for a rookie mistake, I found a VH potential recruit that I really liked close by but had 3 Sims on him already. I managed to get 2 off and get him yellow in 1 cycle. The next cycle while trying to use my phone I somehow managed to offer and then withdraw a scholarship offer and he immediately went red to the lone sim. Am I completely out of luck or can I still get him back away from the sim? Thanks for any advice!

I believe you are out of luck

You can get him back, but you're essentially "starting over" -- your prior effort on him will have a greatly reduced effect (as evidenced by the red ball). If you like him a ton, and have money to spend, go for it!
