Hey Bob,,

You mentioned giving updates every two weeks.

Any news to share?

Yep - thanks for being patient with this one. I'll be getting an update out by the end of the week.

Bob, minor point, when we send a request to WIS management, we get back "WhatIfSports Customer Support Request Recieved" in the subject line. Could you correct "received"?

Yes, thanks for catching that I will fix that soon.

Edit: this is updated, thanks for the catch!

We have been busy here and obviously haven’t updated. We are going to get one out this week for sure, hopefully today or tomorrow.

I said this in another forum post but the very large updates are not going to be sustainable forever so some might be big and some small, but we think the bi weekly updates no matter the size are helpful and making sure the users know we are invested. I get the frustration here for sure. I will say something about this in the update too.

Thanks for responding Jordan, and all of that makes sense.

But you guys need to realize/remember, you're dealing with a customer base that probably has dealt with their own customer bases in their careers (I have a strong sense that this is a "mature" audience, made up of many professional people, for the most part), so expectations might be different than if you were dealing with a bunch of video game-playing kids.

Bottom line- Just do what you say you're going to do. You have an enthusiastic core here. Communicate well and I think most everyone will be very patient. Make improvements to the product and I think your customer base will grow, significantly.

Also, maybe some introductions are in order? Who's on the "team", what are their roles?...etc. (I see this was done in another post)

Lastly, I don't think it's a stretch to say that we are ALL rooting for you guys to pull this off.

Hey Joey,

Yeah, we messed up with the lack of updates for a while and I hope the top section of the recent update owns up to this. I know the WIS community has been promised a lot and is used to being let down and we are trying to rebuild that trust, and obviously saying we are going to do bi-weekly updates and not doing that isn't a step in the right direction.

We can definitely do a team introduction in another post probably after the new login and all of the stuff that entails is finished but here it is unofficially

Bob - President
Jordan (me) - Engineer
Jordan (support) - Support

Support Jordan & Bob have played WIS games for a long time, me not so much. It has been a big learning curve and very humbling experience. It is a little odd when customers know more than me but I am learning a lot from digging thru what we have now and the customers which has been great. As you can imagine WIS is huge and the games, especially dynasty games, are incredibly in depth which is why everyone here loves playing them. I am not going to promise anything as far as future updates to the site/games (we are going to update everything in due time, but not going to promise what we are going to do) for obvious reasons but what I will say is we are collecting a lot of feedback and going to prioritize that feedback with our goals to grow the business and what to work on.

One thing that I like about WIS is our current customer base wants us to get new customers too for faster world population, etc, so I think generally a lot of things will be aligned there from a feature point of view.

My biggest thing coming into this job personally has been one question

"How do we upgrade WhatIfSports while still keeping the spirit of the game"

It sounds kind of corny most users care a lot about WIS, you wouldn't have sent the above message if you didn't care, we want to make things better for current users, easier for new users, but also keep what makes WIS great and fun.

Thank you for sharing your feedback we really appreciate it!

What's happening with updates? I really appreciated the two-week cadence.
