First ballot is first ballot, regardless. Ichiro should consider himself lucky. He's got the 3rd highest Hall of Fame voting percentage ever, and I don't think anyone thinks he's the 3rd greatest player.

Agreed, we have to get past this idea that a player not being unanimous is somehow insulting. That ship sailed long ago.
