Hello Im new to the game and is womdring if any vets can provide any guidance on how to play this game and recruing advice?

Also, is recruting every 3 hours??

Hey lab, recruiting in Warner as you know began this morning. You won't get any responses from the recruits however until the 11 am cycle tomorrow morning. Then after that it goes every 3 hours yes. At your school I would only offer AC scouts this first cycle. Check for their potential which you will be able to see on your recruiting page, those you have scouted that is. Also at Occidental I would only pursue players with high or very high potential if you plan on staying at the school for a few seasons. Don't use D2 or higher in your search, the player won't sign with you. Only the players that come up in your D3 search will sign. Look for solid cores which you can find under some of the helps sections. 45 or higher WE is also the best along with the potential you see from scouting. GL

I also would mostly pursue undecided recruits at this point since it is your first season and you have no carryover or PO money to play with. Knocking off a simai off of the recruits can be spendy, will most likely exceed your 3k allotment. I wouldn't be afraid to go after 1 or 2 that are favoring sim just to get your feet wet. Knocking the Sims off will be something you want to do on the first day. At D3 it will likely take 4 or 5 campus visits is my guess, been years since I was at D3 so I'm not positive of that number. But the longer you wait to knock them off the more it costs. I'd also want high potential out of the sim favoring recruits too. Since this is your first season stay away from battles with another human too. That shouldn't be too hard since there are so few of us left. lol
