I recently dropped out of a theme league because the commissioner tried (apparently successfully) to add rules that were not included in the theme description.
I'd like to point out that this was a replacement commissioner bc the league creator disappeared and WIS arbitrarily appointment a new commissioner. The new commissioner added a rule about stadiums not included in the theme description. He tried to make me change my stadiums (2 teams) after the league was full..
Can you imagine that?
That's as BUSH LEAGUE as it gets. I'd say the commissioner's name but I didn't even pay attention to who it is.
I should have so I can remember not to give a pos like that respect.
Point of this post:
If a rule isn't stated in the theme description or the theme description doesn't lead you to the rules on the theme forums then there is no such rule regardless of intent.
We can't be this low class. Let's do better than this.
Also, apparently other owners had similar views of the stadium rule as me, yet they gave in and changed their stadium to fit the rule the false commissioner made up on his own . Be stronger than that. Have some fortitude. Stand up for what's right and don't give in to stupid **** you know is wrong .. this goes for every aspect of life.
