Guys, this is a fun and different type progressive that goes backwards. It challenges new owners and progressive veterans alike.
We need you to join us. You won't regret it.
There are some unique rules that keep checks and balances in place giving every owner a chance each season.
First...Owners are allowed only 15 keepers...if you can't keep 15 there is a $1 million penalty added to your keepers salary prior to the draft.
Second---Draft slots are determined by the total salary of your 15 keepers. The lowest six are then put into a lottery for final position. (Both of these pretty much take care of "tanking" concerns.)
Third and Forth---If you make in-season trades you must always have at least 22 MLB players between MLB and AAA. ANY TRADES made during a draft must result in all trade partners haveing 25 MLB players at the draft's conclusion.
Errors in final keepers list vs Available players list can be reverted
if discovered before the player is chosen.
If not discovered the team who selects the player in the current draft keeps the player and the owner losing said player gets an additional pick at the end of the draft.
BASIC RULES:
Injuries: ON
Waiver Wire: OFF
DH: OFF
AAA: ON 6/4 below average randomly generated by WIS
TRADES: yes -- PICKS 1 YR IN FUTURE, PLAYERS, and AAA can be moved. Rosters deaadline is game 159. Trade deadline in game 100.
Drop/Add: NO
Pick one unused active stadium. Stay there at least 5 seasons.
There is a junk pool you can draft from in the event all players are selected in the draft season.
Stadiums:
The Cardinals are available.
