Hello baseball fans, can somebody explain to me how starters 3A & 3B differ from tandem 3A and 3B? I confused about which to use if I want to alternate starts between 2 pitchers. Thank you.

to alternate starts you want starters 3A and 3B. tandem means pitcher A starts the game and then pitcher B is the first out of the bullpen
