The Cy Young and the Cy Youngs Progressive League (CYCYPL) needs one owner.

Simple Stuff:
This is a progressive league that advances one year at a time.
It’s a 16 team league that uses a 154 game schedule.
Theres no DH or AAA or clones.

Stuff unique to our league:

We are currently in 07/87 season. Our next draft will have the 1908 rookies and 1988 All Stars. Each draft has the old time rookies and the modern All Stars who aren’t all ready in the league (it’s usually about 20 of them).

The draft is just rookies and eligible all stars. If a dude is cut or forgotten, he is removed from the player pool.

The 1st round draft order is best to worst, excluding the two World Series Teams. There’s no advantage to tanking.

I provide a spreadsheet of all eligible players (with stats and stuff) like a month before the draft.

There's a 27 man roster so you don’t have to cut good players.

The draft is 7 rounds each year and takes about a week.

Our next draft is scheduled for around 12/20. Since it's around the holidays, we'll be off the clock until 12/27 but I expect we should get through the first 2 rounds or so in that week.

The teams are all pretty good (salaries average about 90-100 million) but it’s super easy to rebuild because you can take all stars in the second and third round.

Ill post the team a little later today but it does have .the 14th, 17th and 18th pick in the draft.

It's looking like a 7th or 9th pick in the first round and a 5th or 6th pick in the 2nd-7th rounds. The team has wholes (pitching isn't really one) but with two pick in the top 24 or so, I think you can reload quickly.

I would like to Draft

This team needs a little work. It's not a complete rebuild but there are some wholes. I think you could play for now with the first three draft picks or totally sell some pieces (Mattingly, Randolph/Evers, etc) and do a complete rebuild.

This team has never been successful and we have a rule that if a franchise has had four losing seasons in a row, so they get a bonus pick at the end of the first round.
