Dear WIS staff
I know a big upgrade to WIS football is a lot to ask for. So much coding, admin, etc.
I offer a request for one small tweak that I believe will greatly help balance and make many successful owners rethink the strategy they use for Every Single Team.
While many differ on how to build the best offense and defense, Everyone agrees that the best offensive lines are underpriced. Look the every league; virtually every owner has a stud O Line. There is hardly Any variety.
Proposed solution: One small salary tweak to Off Lines. Salary of any O Line is increased by 25% for every dollar above $4.6 mil. That is all. Most O Lines don't change at all. But the best ones cost more. Examples:
| Team |
RUN |
PASS |
SACK |
CURRENT SAL |
. . NEW SALARY |
| 2024 Baltimore Ravens |
100 |
96 |
76 |
$6,108,500 |
$6,535,600 |
| 1951 Los Angeles Rams |
89 |
100 |
97 |
$6,138,000 |
$6,572,500 |
| 1960 Cleveland Browns |
86 |
99 |
87 |
$5,942,250 |
$6,327,800 |
| 2010 Philadelphia Eagles |
98 |
40 |
29 |
$4,343,500 |
same $4,343,500 |
| 2009 Indianapolis Colts |
32 |
96 |
93 |
$4,612,500 |
$4,665,600 |
If this throws off the overall balance of a $60mil budget, you can adjust by making punters and/or FG kickers cost less. 'Cause Nobody spends $2mil for a punter!
