Season in, season out, Uecker is one of the most enjoyable worlds in Hardball Dynasty. There is good chemistry among the owners, strong competition, and absolutely no drama. This season we have four openings to fill. Here is a snapshot of each:
Nashville Nazguls (64-98) 7th Overall Pick – This team made the playoffs four years ago, but has struggle in each of the past three seasons, losing between 93 and 98 games. The good news is that they were close to league average in pitching, but they were in the bottom 10 in hitting and 28th in runs scored. To correct this situation, the franchise has used most of it’s early-round picks on position players the last few years, including a stud 2B.
Monterrey Jacks (71-91) 11th AND 12th Overall pick – It has been a long time since this club had a winning season. Three years ago, they won 71 games, their highest total in 7 seasons. But the growth stalled. They were fine offensively, ranking in the top 10 in most offensive categroies. Pitching was the problem… 31st in ERA and 28th in WHIP. Some solid early round picks will improve the pitching in the next couple of years.
Durham BullsEyes (88-74) 23rd Overall Pick – This team has been one of the more consistent franchises in Uecker the past several years. They have won their division 9 of the last 11 seasons, but do not have a World Series title during that time. Durham was better than league average in ERA, and top 10 in WHIP, but right at league average in hitting. This team may be just one or two key players away from taking it to the next level.
Louisville Sluggers (105-57) 34th Overall pick – If you want a team built for winning, this is your huckleberry. They have won more than 100 games each of the past two years, they have been division champs eight of the last nine seasons, and they won the World Series four years ago. They are top 3 in nearly every offensive category, including #1 in SLUG and HR. And they can pitch, finishing 11th and 10th in ERA and WHIP respectively. Grab this team and ride them to the playoffs!
