Historically one of HBD's higher-ranked worlds, Capra now has six open spots. Capra offers tough competition and a strong balance. All teams must win 120 games every two seasons or face removal. No max on IFA/prospect monies. We also field an active board (myself, vikesxv, sjstapleton,) that considers/reviews league concerns.

They used to call the “hundred year flood” the “hundred year flood” (Duh!) because they happened about every one hundred years. Here in Western Oregon (and Washington and Northern California) the 1964 flood hit record levels that hadn’t been seen (generally) since 1861. That’s dang near 100 years.

But now they are referred to as 1% floods because that the there’s a 15 chance that they will occur in any particular year.

Po-taa-toes or po-tah-toes, to-maa-toes or to-mah-toes…..it’s all basically the same thing.

I know, I know…..just what the heck does that have to do with openings in Capra? Well, let me tell you. Having this many openings in Capra is essentially a hundred year flood. We’re talking something we’ve never seen before, a 1% event.

So sign up with confidence (and with alacrity). This is a way great league with a core of very long term owners, including several from year one…which was 78 Capra years ago. There’s no drama, real competitiveness and a bunch of sharpie owners. You will have a great time. Bring your A Game. BTW, you should sign up for Buzz Capra, who passed away just a month ago. He would appreciate it. And he’ll probably bring you some positive karma in whatever leagues you are already in.
