A year and a half ago we took over a platform we loved as users. We knew it needed work - a lot of it. Today is one piece of that. There's more coming. Now, on to the good stuff.

SLB Live Play - Coming Soon
Live Play for SLB is in the works and getting close. We don't have details to share just yet but we'll keep you posted as things take shape. This is the return of a fan favorite and we're excited about it.

Hardball Dynasty Update - Universal DH Now Live

The Universal DH is here. Here's what you need to know:

• Commissioners can now toggle the Universal DH on or off for their world at any time. That said, we'd recommend making the switch between seasons - mid-season changes tend to create lineup headaches and not everyone will be happy about it. Any change takes effect going forward only - for example, if you flip the switch after the All-Star Game, it won't retroactively update All-Star rosters or any events that have already occurred.
• With the DH enabled, ML lineups simplify to two - both with a DH slot.
• The NL All-Star roster now includes a DH, replacing a pitcher spot. The NL and AL rosters now match - 1 DH, 13 pitchers.
• The NL Silver Slugger award previously given to pitchers has been replaced by a DH award.

For Public Worlds, DH rules will remain as-is for now. That said, if there's consensus in your world that you'd like to make a change, reach out to us and we can make it happen behind the scenes.

HBD - The Band is Getting Back Together

This is the one we've been most excited to share.

We have made a significant investment to bring members of the original WIS development team (and some of their friends) back into the fold on a part-time basis. These are the people who built this game. The ones who know it at a level nobody else does. And they're back because they love it as much as you do.

This isn't a small tweak or a quick refresh. Their initial focus will be on Hardball Dynasty - starting with the on-the-field changes, then off-the-field changes, UI enhancements, bug fixes, and a variety of customer-suggested enhancements.

One more thing - Tom Z, the creator of Hardball Dynasty, will be active in the HBD threads and on Discord. The guy who built this game from scratch wants to hear from you directly. Be on the lookout and fire away.

This is the update HBD has deserved for a long time. And just so we're clear - we're not doing this just as owners. We're doing this as users who want to play a better version of this game too. We know this community has been patient. That patience is about to pay off.

And We're Just Getting Started

SLB and HBD are the first but they won't be the only ones. Hoops Dynasty, Gridiron Dynasty, and the other SimLeague games are all on the roadmap. More to come.
