I just had a SP in Halladay who was throwing a perfect game in the 8th. After 7.2IP and 85 pitches, he got pulled.

Is this aligned to his target pitch count? Yes.

But we need to add some situational awareness. I'd suggest a function in the manager settings that permits you to override starter pitch counts if SP is throwing a no-hitter or perfect game.

I have been complaining about this for years. Ever since I had a pitcher pulled throwing a perfect game at 8.2 with an 11-0 lead.
