I didn't say its not huge. I'll use it and gain the info from other people. I just don't think the updates are going to be as huge as you guys are making them. No it doesn't say it will give the info that your saying. It says this...

In addition to the scouting notes tab, the scouting service will also automatically notify you of any significant changes with the recruit in terms of how your school is considered (is another school making a big push, is it dead even, etc.). You'd receive an update anytime there was a significant change in the recruit's opinion, i.e. not just a one time deal.

Once a player is signed, the scouting notes tab/information will transfer from the recruit profile to his player profile. Only the coach who signed that recruit will have access to that information.


Anyways. Any changes how your school is considered. It says nothing about other schools and it saying what there doing or not doing.

Edit - It will update where you stand like a 'ship message. I don't see it name dropping or anything that your saying. If theres 3 guys on the recruit I don't think its going to go out and say "team blah is in the lead", but it should say "your not." Just my thoughts on it~

Thats what this will do for you. It acts as if a ship is on the table for EVERY player on that state giving you a lot of unwanted information, but some wanted I guess (even though you can see your not in the lead by clicking there profile)

But it's tabbed information. Not like it's going to flood your coach mail box. You want to see information on a player, you click the tab.

I know and I said I don't. Nobody really knows and won't until its rolled out. Either way this will have no effect on the way I recruit.

For the record, I think these changes sound absolutely great. And I'm honestly surprised at how many people would just share the information they get from scouting services with people with whom they are ostensibly competing.

Nobody will just throw it out there, but an agreement through friends to save money is bound to happen. I know if my brother was in my world I would see what states hes scouted and mark that off my list and I'm sure he'd do the same. No point in multiple people wasting cash getting the same info when you can just trade like cali for ny.

It's not suddenly. The potential for a player to want to stay close to home or go far away has always been there. Now you'll just be able to see it via scouting
