all3 - are you saying we're off the clock until Poddy makes his first round pick?  That would change the whole schedule of the drafting, depending on when the first round is complete?  Hard to arrange schedule to be able to make a draft pick that way.

No - he's saying after the 24th pick, the last pick of the 1st round (actually mine at 6:00 pm) - malone would choose the "best" player available and we'd move on to the 2nd round

all3 - okay, the 25th pick is off the clock until picks 1 through 24 have been completed.  Correct.  Hopefully we'll get all 24 picks done to stay on schedule, is what you're saying.

all3 is correct if there is an owner or owners that have not been picked I will make the selection on there behalf for the best player available.

I will not try and make a pick based on who I think is the best option for the team, as it is not my job to assist in running the team, but rather the best player in terms of sim salary for remaining eligible seasons.
