This sitemail situation is bad.

No sitemails, can't make trades in progressive leagues. Going to hurt the site if they don't get it fixed.

Lennyistall has a very good braves team. he also has a horrific Philadelphia Phillies team.

In looking around at remaining teams I am struck by just how bad baseball was in Philly if you were there in 1937. their two teams fininised 81 games back... combined they did win a couple more games than the 37 yankees.

Vilefileman has the 67 Phillies and the 57 A’s - the Phillies provided him with solid pitching but only a couple of hitters. Gonzales in OF and a defensively challenged Allen at 3B. The only cheap sub is at 1B. The A’s were a good screw because they provided no hitting and the only cheap sub is at 1B.

I struggled with two options but ultimately landed on the 1927 Brooklyn Robins. They provide no hitting and only one cheap sub in the OF. You do get a couple of good starting pitchers but pitching is all this team will have…

I've had sitemail problems on my phone and with chrome, but I have been using Edge for sitemail without problems. Obviously, WIS needs to get this sorted out. I don't want to relocate to another site and have to re-learn things.

If you get to a point where you cannot post or sitemail, my gmail matches my ID.

It would definitely be possible to set up a slack for people in this league - or WIS users more generally. Do people think we are reaching that point?

I've been able to get it to work by clearing cookies on my browsers. Chrome was working better than Firefox for a while, and now I'm back to Firefox without issues for a while. On my phone, I use Safari and it works.

Definitely try clearing out history and/or cookies on your preferred browsers and see if that helps.

Totally agree. Clearing cookies on your browser does help but it's not a long-term fix and more importantly, WIS should fix the problem and not its users. I think one of the causes may be the volume of ads they run on their site. I use this site often and would be willing to pay for a no-ads option, but it's not available.

For Ribbentrop, I present the 1947 Pittsburgh Pirates.

You get a massive season from Ralph Kiner (51 HRs, 1.050 OPS), but he costs almost $8.7M, and you've already got Joe Dimaggio at $9.8M available for your outfield. The other good Pirates hitters are Hank Greenberg (1B) and Frankie Gustine (3B), but you already have Lou Gehrig and Red Rolfe at these positions. The pitching is borderline unusable, though, so you better find a home for some of these Pirates hitters.
