“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4: 3-4
This passage details a key spiritual sign of the
last days: the widespread rejection of biblical authority and sound doctrine in favor of personalized, palatable teachings. This phenomenon of “
itching ears” shows that people will actively seek teachers
who validate their own desires rather than adhering to the objective, difficult truth, leading to mass spiritual delusion.
“On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Zechariah 12:3
This verse provides a crucial geopolitical sign:
Jerusalem will become the epicenter of global conflict in the
End Times. The gathering of “all the nations of the earth against her” indicates an unparalleled
final military and political confrontation focused squarely on the
city of Jerusalem.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.“
John 14: 1-3
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man (Adam), the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man (Christ Jesus). For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.“ 1 Corinthians 15: 20-23
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (born again). For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Today could be your day . . . You don't know . . . you may not be here tomorrow. . . . then it's too late. . . no mulligans/do overs.
