Holy Fuque, was that ever a game Vs the Sharks last night. Definatly wasn't a defensive gem by the Canucks but the action in that game never stopped. Kudos to the Canucks for holding on and winning in the S/O. Next...............Flames on Saturday.

It was a great game except too many PPs and BS penalties. When the Canucks had a PP with 10 minutes left and were up a goal, I said the Sharks would get 2 more PPs and that's what we saw. Fortunatelty the Canucks had one too and were the better special teams team.
Better not see that BS in the playoffs. That's how the Hawks won last year. Free ride.

How did Schnieder only get the 3rd star? He kept the team in the game even if he did let 2 quick ones in in the 2nd period. All well that ends well though.

Nice comeback and victory for the Canucks last night. This team never quits. Perfect 5 game road trip was just what the doctor ordered. We are sitting in a pretty good position right now. Philly lost last night too but the Wings won. I like our odds of winning the West for sure.

First team to 100 points.  1 point Vs the Avs tonight will lock up a P/O spot. Schnieder starts in net tonight.

1 POINT TONIGHT means we clinch the div.  No worse than the three seed.  If the Flames or Minni lose or tie, we win the div.  So Canuck's have won the div.

That would mean someone would have to beat them. And that team would be.....................

Please don't say the "see you in another 50 years" Blackhawks because there are 49 years to go. I can visualize Toews and Kane out to pasture in a Rangers uniform now.

I mean the Canucks have been beating teams like San Jose and LA with very little motivation in front of them. Wait till it matters to them.

I remember all the Red Wings fans and media saying all the same things in 95-96 when they won 62 games. And then lost to a team with 15 fewer wins and 27 fewer points (The Colorado Avalanche, who went on to win the Cup). The reality is, you never know. It's a brand new season come April.

I could see the Wings beating the Canucks. If I had to pick one team that the Canucks might have trouble against, it's Detroit. Franzen and Holmstrom would drive Luongo nuts, Datsyuk and Lidstrom are arguably the best forward/defenseman shutdown pair in the NHL and they have good depth.

That being said, other than the Hawks I'll be rooting for the Cup to return to Canada so I hope this is the year that they do in fact put it together.

With the injuries (Malhotra), I really hope Vigneault doesn't work Kesler like a dog because he's his most versatille player. It's so pointless. The Canucks probably couldn't lose the President's Trophy on purpose (who cares anyway, if they hang one more sad reminder of futility banner, division champs, etc, we're better than Edmonton! we're better than Edmonton!).

I know he wants to play and makes good money, but I'd like to see Kesler off the PK for the rest of the season (PP too but that won't happen). Not necessary.

Orestovich called up. Hodgeson up on the 3rd and maybe some PP would have been cool.

Hodgson...it's weird you're not the first Canucks fan I've seen make that mistake...wonder why that is.

Toews will never wear another sweater.  He will be our Captain for life.
