I'm jealous ..... is the rookiie game on Thursday going to be online anywhere? I'd like to see how Schenn, Couturier, and Lauridsen look out there. Mostly lauridsen.... that's one big dude.

AWESOME GAME!!! Got to sit in the second row on the side where they scored the gooals. You may have seen me. You also might have seen me on fan appreciation night against the thrashers, (the Ville Leino hat trick game), in the open. My friend's band got a gig to perform there.

Simmonds says he was a Lindros fan as a kid.  So was I.  

Looks like the opening lines at Camp are:

JVR-Giroux-Jagr
Hartnell-Briere-Voracek
Talbot-Nylander-Simmonds
Shelley-Betts-Nodl

I think Voracek can replace Leino on that 2nd line w/o any problems.  Hopefully Jagr finds some chemistry with JVR and Giroux.  That will be a fun line to watch this season if they do.

This team has a great mix. We got the young guns in Simmonds, JVR, Giroux and Voracek, to name a few, we have the guys in the prime of their careers like Hartnell, Briere, Byrzgalov and Mezaros, and we have those seasoned veterans who have a wealth of knoweledge like Pronger, Jagr, Timonen and possibly Nylander. Plus we can't forget about our guys in the minors. Of course we have Schenn and Couturier, but at the rookie game, Houser and Kessel looked really good.
