Toews never but Kane would be a great asset to trade away if you have cap troubles. He has talent but he can't play in his own end. Trade him to Buffalo for Stafford.

Hopefully Manny's injury is not too serouis. It's a bad area to be hit with a puck for sure. We'll definatly miss his faceoff talent and P/K but I believe we have enough talent to get by. Lets just hope he doesn't lose any vision in his eye.

Losing Manny is a huge blow to this team.  I really hope he can play again, he was a perfect fit for this team.

Alberts and Edler are skating and basically getting into game shape.  Expect both to play by April 1st.
Bieksa should play Wed night against the Wings.

Higgins and Laparierre have been good additions.......but neither of them come close to making up for losing Manny.

Tanev is a steal......He is a very smart player and he has a bright future on this team.  He likely rides the pine throughout the playoffs, but he has been a very valuable player, stepping in for all of our injured D core.

Today was a very good day.  I just completed the Vancouver Island Trifecta.  Took the family up to Mt. Washington first thing in the morning (deepest snow base...in....the...world baby! 710cm, For you Americans, that's well over 20ft of packed, groomed snow!).  Left the hill about noon and came back down to the valley for a round of golf at Glacier Greens, then joined some buds on a 35ft Catalina for a sail down Baynes Sound in the late afternoon/evening.  Now where else in the world can you do all that in just one day eh juskay?

Yes very cool.......I will add that I had fresh Halibut for dinner, first of the season and fresh off the boat.  On Sunday we had a good low tide and I walked out into our bay (hip waders on) and picked up 8 Dungeonesse crabs....No traps required.

Sucks to live on the west coast???

Vancouver Island is the best place to live.  We have it all.

Yeah well I was on Mt. Washington a week ago when all that great snow was falling from the sky. Couldn't see a damn thing!

Nice win tonight Vs the Wings. Luongo had a great game. The team played great though too. Next stop is Atlanta.

 Your on the verge Holer, you are that close to being a Canuck fan.. Nice come back win tonight. Most importantly though, no one was serouisly hurt. Oh yeah, we won the Conference too.  A team record 9th straight road win to boot. I think we get the Kings next.

3 points for the Canucks (5 games left) or off Philly (6 games left) and the PT is theirs. Foregone conclusion. Like to see it wrapped up Saturday though and maybe rest Ehrhoff when Alberts is ready. Ehrhoff will be the only Canuck Dman to play 70 games! Like to see Kesler rest a game when Glass is back too.

I'm taking my son to the Canucks/Oilers game in Edmonton on Tuesday. I can't wait. It will be his first NHL game. I hope everyone is playing but I'm being a little selfish. 10th row, to the right of the Oilers penalty box. I got the tickets for free but are worth $250 a piece.
