I played season 2 at $20.8m. Have made good progress on the upgrades, time to loosen the wallet.

Oh, and re-check your figures. Caines re-signed for a $2.4m pay cut w/o collecting a dime fm the 2yr/$11.8m contract I originally signed him to.

The Rocks have 7 skaters aged 20-and-under.

Not sure why I went this route in this league too, considering how impatient I am waiting for growth in the original.

same. I've got a young crew too.

only viable option being the last team in. there wasn't much to make my expansion team out of by the time I got there. I was using an old sniper w/52 DEF as my 6th D that 1st year.

I DID steal your strategy of going goalie-goalie in the 1st two drafts. now to wait for the young D to develop and locate some more firepower.

Super evil genius plan implemented. Screwed up hiring the coach for 4yr at that inflated salary, but oh well, had to be done. Last guy to the party got the leftovers, including the worst coach any of us has ever hired.

I think I just wasted the 1st perfect game in GHL history on a damned AI team. That was thorough.

You don't often see a goalie w/ a 0 SV% get 1st star.

Yeah, that was pretty wild, but I wouldn't expect to get that result vs a human-controlled opponent.
