I get to see, first hand, a flex/press matchup with my triangle/zone-press. I think these are my two favorite systems (I haven't tested out the flex/press too much, but theoretically it sounds very good, and it is what Maryland, my favorite team and alma mater, runs), so I am curious how this'll play out, beyond my obvious personal investment in Fordham's success.

Damn, though...that is a talented team.

I can hardly believe it. We just had a great offensive game and a great defensive game at the same time. I played a slowdown -2 zone/press. Making the Final Four is well beyond anything I had hoped for this year. It's well beyond anything I had hoped for next year, when I expected to have a stronger team. I think this is just one of those lightning-in-a-bottle things.

Next up, Kansas, the most dominant team in D-I this year. I've been wrangling with them over the top spot in team margin of victory for quite some time. At this point, unless they blow me out, I've probably got it wrapped up. The difference? I play in the Ivy League, they play in the Big 12.

I'll admit it: this is a tough one to gameplan. I'm thrilled to have made it this far. I have little hope of winning this next game. I truly think my chances are in the 10% range. Maybe I'm wrong. It certainly wouldn't be the first time...today. I'm sure I'll be waking up this time tomorrow, whether I want to or not, in order to find out.
