And how exactly am I refuting you with the very thing I am campaigning to eliminate? I have looked through everything, and there is no circular logic anywhere in my reasoning.

Do pro players improve? If college players max out their potential in college, why aren't more rookies starting in the NBA.

sigh.

as has been said many times, this is College Hoops. this is their potential for the four years that they are in school. sure that might not be 100% real life accurate, but it's NOT real life. it's a game, a college based game at that..

If its for recruits from here on out ok but if they change current freshman and sophs on rosters then toal bs.

My last 2 classes were recruited so they could start at sophmores and definitely jr.s...

he's damn good, too good for D2! lol

is that really what we need bradshaw?

you know what would be interesting too. is since a player would be older after getting a rs maybe rs year a player should grow like an old time player then get his potential from where he starts playin. so they get a lil potential boost if they accept rs

Start core ratings lower if you want. We don't need D2 players over 800, but there are not that many, so it's not like we're talking about a widespread epidemic.

itsjimmy - if you wanna see some cool old stuff of mine check out the Rupp forum. prolly have to sort by all of last year but i have some really good tracking threads and record books.

If potential were just about rate of improvement, that would take care of the issue and that freak that zhawks showed us would be a highly sought-after player who would cost a ton of recruiting dollars.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy. My point is that improvement does not cease entirely if a player practices and works hard...at least in basic skills. Ask any coach, or teacher, or employer. No, this is not real life, yet I believe most of us here would enjoy a "game" that is as realsitic as possible.

Isn't that what work ethic was? So essentially, you just want the old system.
