Ya gotta hand it to Pedro, he calls it like he sees it. His ego is not so large that he can't congratulate the other team. On the other hand, I was at a game at Yankee Stadium when Pedro 1-hit the Yankees and struck out 18. So I think it remains to be seen who will be whose daddy this year.

I guess I just don't get it. Cepeda's primary position in 1960 was OF. Ortiz' in 2000 was DH!

Yes, but Cepeda is still listed under CIF in 1960 and Ortiz is a CIF in 2000. The issue with Ed Delahanty was that he was not listed under OF in 1890 at all.
