What gets me about plague's position is that he completely absolves himself of any blame for his part of the 'tardiness of the worlds where these trades go through. It's the other 31 owners who are at fault for letting his trade rapes go unhindered. And he's the victim in the forums.

Why would I place blame on the owner who is doing what he should be doing? As the owner of a team his goal is too make the best trade possible for his team.

I would like to add I am not looking to place blame on any one person. It is what it is. If a trade makes it through the system then it was considered acceptable for that world. There should be no complaining when a coach wins because of trades.

So? And the Yankees just want to win, many people hate them for that. It's the rules, you don't like the rules then change the rules.

Plague is right. People complain about the yankees winning with a $200M payroll, but yet they take no action to implement a salary cap. Owners complain about teams winning because they make lop-sided trades, but they make no efforts to veto these trades. Don't blame the owner that is attempting to get the most value at each player each trades. Blame the rest of the league for not taking action against the trade if they do not deem it fair.

I have a question for the people that disagree with plague. What is your thought process when you propose a trade?

a) Do you attempt to trade for equal value every single time?

b) Do you try to get the most value out of every trade?

"Blame the rest of the league for not taking action against the trade if they do not deem it fair. "

I Wish I would of said it exactly like that. If they considered the trade unfair they should of vetoed said trade. If they let what they considered a unfair trade through the system they have no one to blame but themselves. Don't complain after the coach becomes a winner.

C) Don't offer a trade you'd veto.

Exactly. When someone sends me a ridiculous offer, I send a trade chat and say "I see how this benefits you but how does it benefit me?"
