10/5 - This week in Shoeless Joe completed. This week in SJ written up by rootgargle (thx) & also the big trade involving 2 cy youngs. 2nd Secret letter was revealed in this show. Also standings, AL & NL offensive leaders. 

10/6 - This week in Rickey - NO SECRET LETTER TODAY and Rickey hasn't started yet. Nothing to work with unless I have stats. Unlike before when we had tomjames I won't be doing power rankings. tomjames had some sort of program he ran for that and didn't pass it on. Between running HBD news, my other radio show, and a couple of nights on another station, Im pretty busy. This is in addition to my life of course.

So this episode today can be avoided by everyone. Just ran a bunch of songs since I have it scheduled. After I get through this first week - Cobb tomorrow, Doubleday Friday, I'll start to add new leagues to the TWIHBD theme one by one to test the amount of interest per league.

10/9 - 2 hour episode of HBD - wide news. I will be swapping out leagues for the TWIHBD theme if they dont reach my minimum listen requirement. So far none of the leagues have made the cut and I might scrap it and do HBD - wide news all week long. I will decide Sunday and schedule accordingly.

10/13 - After the first week of This week in (your league), only CAPB hasn't made my minimum listen requirement. This isn't an ego thing by the way. I just want to find who wants to listen and who doesn't. Since Im in CAPB, I will run them another week.

Overall it seems the site-wide news is the more popular episodes in spite of the vote for the This week in (your league) theme. Im going to continue anyway and start adding a 2nd league to the show on monday. I will go in alphabetical order. (1530 homer Mon.) I will add the 7s leagues Tue, Wed, Fri. All will be added 2nd hour.

Remember that my secret letter is given out during the M-F shows. I have given out 5 so far and a hint as to who the player might be. Details to the contest are in the hbdnews.blogspot.com blog.

It  looks like 1530 Homer already has podcasts and a site. I will start monday in 7mantle7.
