I'm not going to make picks for anyone as soon as they miss their timeslots. I want to give people a chance to show up. We'll see how the day goes and if anyone gets 15+ slots behind I'll have to consider making a pick for them.
I certainly don't mean to be a pain, but how can you justify making a pick for doctorkz, but not for je3rd?  Why didn't you let doctorkz slip 15 slots?

I agree with what jfranco77 did.  If somebody is AWOL for 5+ days (without checking sitemail), then it's time to worry.

I haven't seen any posts from je3rd since he picked the Phillies on May 5th.  Isn't he as AWOL as we thought doctorkz was?

Well, my gamble to move up to the second slot failed. There are no more second round worthy picks; I thought one or two would slip. Many teams available will let you fill holes, but this team won't be competitive.

ratioman, I strongly considered the Quakers with the last pick in the first round.  They have some very usable big-inning starting pitchers.  I actually thought that would be a great second round pick for a team like the Yankees.
