ok, simple fix here.  Take away all loopholes, ALL.  Then create tax incentives.  For every American that one of your countries corporations hires they get a 75% tax credit.  For every person they hire outside of America they get 1 of those tax credits taken away.  So if a corp hired equally in the states as they did outside the states they get to pay precisely what they should pay with no tax benefits whatsoever.  If however they hire all Americans and nobody outside of the USA they could wind up paying no tax whatsoever.  But the jobs stay home.

What do you righties think about that?

I am willing to give tax breaks for hiring Americans.

I am not willing to use it as a trick to raise taxes on corporations.

And yep, when the trick is to make American corporations actually hire Americans, I dont have any problem with that.  If we were trying to trick them into polluting the world, paying attention ONLY to profits and screw the people, then your type would be happy with that.  But its ok Swamp, they do these things already, and much much more.  Your friends, the corporation.

They get furious at the very idea that we should not raise taxes. Even though we are in a recession and raising taxes makes no sense they not only advocate it, but actually respond with almost psychotic fury against anyome who would oppose it.

I accepted their idea that we should use the tax system to give benefits to companies hiring Americans. That wasnt enough. What they want is to raise taxes, and if American Jobs is the reason they hide behind this time they dont care.

The New Conservatives are drawing a line in the sand. No new taxes and no additional government. What we have now is enough for any nation. Work within that.

We have been expanding not only the size of government for 50 years, but also the scope. Roberts decided today that the government can force you to buy health care. That is the problem with good Cosnervatives, they will vote their conscience.
