I've mentioned earlier that this is my 1st baseball draft. I've played a few leagues without much success. I have a question.
Is there a rule (written or not) about drafting some of the games less than honest players? I see McGuire, Sosa, Rose ( personally I think MLB should ease up on him), Clemens and maybe more I am forgetting at the moment? I have never drafted these players (actually I think I took Rose once) and have no intentions of doing so but I am curious.

There is no rule and they are routinely drafted.

I might be old fashioned, but I've never considered it proper etiquette to mention undrafted players in the draft thread.

feel free to draft any of those mentioned...............after all Barry Bonds is long gone as well as Joe Jackson and Eddie Cicotte. You did however just break the golden rule by mentioning players not taken yet in this draft ............... that is a no-no . we can forgive you rook.

I am terribly sorry gents. I am indeed a rook here but not to WIS and I should have known better. I have been in many NHL drafts run by amerk1180 and they are nowhere near as disciplined or smooth running as this draft is. My apologies.

Nope, they are all there on the alpha list. Wilson and Gagne were not on the players drafted by position list though. And also, I just send a SM to the_skipper about just that uptown.
