Voting no as 15 min isnt enough time to correct imo

I am totally open to doing what the majority of us want to do. We can vote yes, vote no, expand the time or whatever. My main concern is having a fun draft league that is a little different from the other draft leagues and I want it so people want to do it again.

I don't really understand the argument that 15 minutes is too short. This only comes into effect if you take someone already selected. It takes about 30 seconds to check page 1 to see if a player is available or not. If you don't do that, the onus should be on you, not the other 23 owners.

And this is not to single anyone out - I've made the mistake before, I forget if it was Savage or ODL, and I would have accepted my punishment without complaint if such a rule had been in place.

One hour correction time would be effective ( and considerate )

I voted no, and I agree with Gerry, one hour time to correct would be fine.
I do think the draft has been going on long enough now that we should have a regular clock though to keep it moving decently.

I think 15 to 30 minutes is plenty of time. If u make a pick of a player already drafted someone usually corrects u right away. Once u make a pick, don’t log off right away. Ck back a couple times within a 30 minute period.

Yikes. Here we go again. In other draft leagues that I have been in the draft is so far ahead of the clock the clock almost never comes into play. I am totally in favor of people just checking more often (doesn’t everyone have smart phones?) and using proxies if they know they won’t be around. I have always thought the 24 hour rule was too long. I would be fine if we have something like an 8 hour rule, but any hours between 11pm eastern time and 11am eastern time do not count. People should be able to check at least once during a 12 hour window. Maybe it should be a 12 hour rule. As for now, let’s just keep drafting. Before we move on to CDL #5, I am perfectly willing to have a discussion on how we can make this league better. Albiband0 is in Switzerland and he makes it work, it seems that we should be able to make it work too.

It’s nice that so many people are voting. It would be even better if we had that much activity when we are drafting.

It would be nice if we had encrypted cell phone numbers and we could text the person who is up without spreading our actual numbers everywhere.
