Flyers forwards look fast and big. That's a huge difference from last season. Sestito is a frigging monster out there sizewise.

Matt Read is pretty quick, Kessel will be a pro one day, and I can already tell I'm really going to like Simmonds.

I'm really impressed by read's speed.  Heard a lot about him but wrote him off because he's a smaller player.  He might make a decent call up.

gotta say Bob looks like he is more reserved.  His awareness looks better, granted its only one game, but he is not flopping so much and he's been in position to make a save every time so far.   he might make a great back up to Bryz if he plays like this..... and the flyers might exceed my expectations of them.

Gotta love big bodies playing in front of the net - nice deflection.  He and Hartnell are similar players... simmonds being the faster of the two.

Testwuide is a big guy as well....  6'3" 210 lbs.  Just looked up Sestito, 6'5" 228 lbs.

sestito mauls somebody.   I hope the waive Shelley and call up Sestito this season.  it would free up about $800,000 in cap as well.

Last night Wayne Simmonds scored the game tieing goal with about a minute left in regulation, then scored the only Shootout Goal for the flyers in 8 rounds (while some racist idiot threw a banana on the ice during wayne's shot).  He handled the incident as a real pro on and offf the ice in interviews.... I am VERY impressed by this guy.  

JVR looked really good last night (2 Goals).  Hopefully its a glimpse of what he will do in the regular season.  A lot of the team success is riding on him in 2011.

Jagr with a Goal and Assist already, 1st period.  JVR scored his 3rd goal in 4 periods.  

I know its preseason but 'scoring' might not be as bad as critics are making it out to be.
