Well, I don't coast at all, so it couldn't be the opposite for me.

I've never done the outdoor biking for exercise thing, so I'll admit ignorance there.  It just seems like those people's legs aren't moving all the time.  Also, in my area, it seems like traffic would make it hard to never stop.

I would actually really like the fresh-air aspect, but don't see any benefit (over the stationary) beyond that.

The change in elevation is key...  if you change gears properly, you legs shouldn't be moving much.

Traffic can be a *****, especially if you aren't quite good yet.  Once you find solid areas it is better.

I bust my *** on my bike and part of the reason is because it is so fun to me.  Flying through the town or park, feeling the wind, seeing whatever...  it is pretty addicting and the main reason I do more biking now than running (although I try to do one of the two almost every day).

i don't blame your knees. if someone tries hauling a few tons of cinderblocks with their truck, they can't ***** about the shocks.
Heh, yeah I can't argue with that.  Although I'm barely an eighth of a ton, you exaggeratin' such and such.

Besides, **** you skinny *******, let's get crackin' on the feats of strength, Festivus-style.
Do you actually lift or do you just equate size with strength?

My ape arms can give me the advantage of reach.

Fat people naturally strong. But not as strong as retarded people.

"Flying through the town or park, feeling the wind, seeing whatever"

Yeah, sounds awesome.  You should be writing Schwynn ads.

I'll be honest, I assume every adult on a bike has a DUI or is ******* poor as ****. robusk actually proves my hypothesis.

Neither, actually.

Lifted a lot in the past, but not really anymore.  Well, I guess I do still lift, but not in any comprehensive way you would endorse.  Pushups and isometric type stuff regularly.  Off and on I'll still do impromptu curls and stuff like that.

Anyway, I was really just setting up the Festivus reference.  Although I imagine I would at least make the semifinals if we set up Shtickless Over the Top.

My wife used to work with a bunch of retards and said that some 13 year old forehead pinned her down once and it was with a lot more force than I bring when we do rapeplay.

Moving around all that fat probably builds muscle.  It's like lifting weights all day.
