Now THAT was a nice win. Down 2-0, on the road and struggling, they come out and outshoot Buffalo 17-1 and score twice in the 3rd to tie it up. The returning Glen Murray was active, got shots, and was a great screen on Chara's huge slapper for the 1st goal. Metropolit/Kobasew/Lucic line had another great night. And Savard creating the break for Sturm to use his speed and beat Miller (Who stood on his head all night).
Bruins battle through OT and get it to the shootout.
Where Alex Auld stops all 3 Buffalo shooters, while Phil "I Live For Shootouts" Kessel, the closer, scores on his attempt despite it slipping off his stick.
3-2 Win they needed after tanking at home.
Still in 8th place obviously, but they need to keep this up vs. the teams they're ahead of.
