Dear Whitey,

I enjoyed watching Tommy Herr play, but he never hit .341, never drew 98 walks, never stole 45 bases, and never hit 14 triples. Which Knoblauch did. All in the same season.

Especially in the sim. You are correct.

Reminds me of the first team I ever put together on this site, years ago. I decided to go with as many 30/30 guys as I could, because how can you compete with that kind of power and speed? Bo Jackson, Howard Johnson, etc. Man, that was ugly.
