The number of DITR isn't really the problem. It's the quality. Most are just better minor league fodder. I've played 50+ seasons. All but about 5 have been under the DITR rules. I've gotten 3, that I recall, who became BL-material. 2 RP(of the 30/30 DUR/STM variety) and a 1B with 15/90/50/50/90 ratings(more or less).

I think it would be horrible if everyone got one BL-quality DITR every season. But, if they're going to continue forward with them, teams should probably see a useful one every 5 seasons or so. Just make it so teams have to meet certain player/coaching guidelines to make them happen.

Yeah, I didn't mean respect as in esteem, but as in being considerate. Another word: courteous, which I also used. And that whole speel about respect being earned is a bit cliche, don't you think?

You say some people respect your bluntness. What I think you mean is that some people tolerate it.
