How about draft amnesty for each owner for one player?

At the end of the draft we each get the chance to kick one of the players we drafted off of the team and then replace him with a player who didn't get drafted. The undrafted players can only be chosen once and it first come first served. None of the throw away players can be picked up by anyone else.

What fun would that be? There's my idiot/savant side coming out of the closet again!

I chose one my players at the last minute after being swayed by the lack of 3pters of one of my favorite players. There is one player that really love that is one of the best players at his position in the last 10 to 12 years but he really sucks in the SIM from a lack of 3's. I'm not talking about Marques Johnson obviously.

POLL: Starting five combined reb% of 128.4%...am I screwed or is this going to be passable given the real board horses aren't available?

what an ordeal getting to changsha from henyang! train and bus in the a driving rain that bordered on typhoon winds. good god. but i have found the internet cafe and have internet access! human again. haha. some nice sg picks, and a couple of surprises. happy as hell eddie jones was still there. this guy gets overlooked all the time.

So how is everyone feeling about their teams? I'm not looking forward to the long wait for last pick in the backups round and have gone over somewhat in usage, but otherwise ok with what I've got. Probably have just enough boards to get away with playing Granger at SF unless some gem is left over.

Not sure I agree.  Usage is high, but it wouldn't worry me.  (But then again, what do I know?)

I like usages at less than 110 so that I get the most out of each player. The biggest concern to me is that the lowest usage player has the highest the EFG% by far. I thjnk that this group shoots a lot of free throws in RL but that never seems to translate to the SIM. An interesting team that should win it's fair share of games.

Now that's more the issue, I think...I've learned the hard way that low usage, high efficiency players aren't usually a good buy in lower cap leagues.

Yeah usage is almost 117 with these guys, so a little bit wasted. Main thing I was thinking of in this draft is I always seem to end up with teams with too many to's and fouls to feel comfortable running uptempo so tried to grab guys where that wouldn't be so much of an issue. In hindsight possibly would have been better off going with Mookie instead of Payton or Okafor instead of Jefferson, but we'll see how it goes.
