isnt Blake pretty much Ridnour?

Once upon a time, yes.  But then Ridnour became an elite mid-range shooter, and Blake became a steaming pile of dog feces.

Fisher and Blake are basically 3rd string material, so even though Ridnour's just bad starter/good backup material, he's a massive upgrade.

I think if they can swing a deal for him and Martell Webster (not sure if Minny wants to deal him though), they pretty much gotta pull the trigger on that ASAP.

I'm starting to think more and more that it's time to just throw in the towel on this season.  If it takes both Bynum and Gasol to get Howard, go ahead (as that means Deron probably comes next season, so the trade is really for both of them).  Then trade Kobe to Philly, who's new ownership would have to love to have a go-to guy and a marquee name.  Getting Young, Turner, Vucevic and a pick for a Kobe package would seem to work for both teams.  Sixers get their 2 biggest needs in one player without touching their starting line-up, and the Lakers get at least two (maybe 3 or 4) young athletic players.

Kobe just hurt my fantasy team

I think that was Phil's fault as much as anything - I think he'll do a little better in Brown's system - still dont want him starting though

and we suck this year but still have our own pick (I think) and maybe Nowitzki has a cataclysmic injury and that mavericks pick...?

of course we shouldnt do that since the Nets just put themselves at a disadvantage in the Howard derby and each day that goes by without an extension being signed is a day closer to the Magic getting nothing to the point that Bynum and a couple picks take it or leave it starts looking better than nothing

mavs pick is top 20 protected bro.

if you really want to rebuild, just trade pau and bynum for dwight.  the team will be good enough this year, and it will be not that hard to build around dwight once you weed out all of the drek (amnesty kobe!)

our own isnt (and jesus mitch that was an even worse trade than I tthought -wtf?)

Bynum looked pretty good last night - so did Ebanks - Brown didnt play Morris but he gave Goudelock some burn and he was not horrible

Honestly if Kobe feeds the bigs on this team they should be so much better.   No way he should be close to leading the league in usage with Gasol and Bynum on the floor.
Odom was probably the best passer you guys had!  doh!

Well enough of my Laker bashing.  Just fun to poke the giant sometimes, and Denver is about as exciting as well, the 2010 Knicks.

"... Denver is about as exciting as well, the 2010 Knicks."

Unless you're Kobe Bryant.
