Prog Rock album that is nearing the age of 45, Leftoverture by Kansas is a real must listen. My album of the day...

Painful to think how long ago 1976 really was. The year before we had Rush play at the kite flying contest in Forest Park. Aerosmith had only recently opened for Mott the Hoople...Mott was a great band. Years later the guys from Queen and Def Leppard tripped over themselves to tribute those guys. They were acting like little kids getting to be on stage with them...Even Bowie tipped his cap to Ian and Mick Ronson...

I agree about it being painful to think how long ago 1976 was. I was in 9th grade and remember well when that album came out.

yes. quite painful wavelandguy.....i guess your 40th high school reunion is this year too? unreal. not to get too deep here i sometimes wonder how many rounds of golf i have left in me, etc etc. live every day like its your last!!!!

I graduated in 1976 and was fortunate enough to see Pink Floyd, the Dead, Zappa, Robin Trower, Bowie, Boston, just to name a few....and I too was a Mick Ronson fan. First time I heard Panic in Detroit I was hooked.
