This is probably obvious to you math wizzes, but as we move along and start getting closer to our range of years, be careful to only add or subtract 24 from one endpoint to find your other endpoint.

For example if you think your high year might be 1985, it would be easy to think your low year would be 1960, since 85-25=60.

But no!! Your early endpoint would be 1961, because you have to count both endpoint years. The old "fencepost" problem.

Even though I knew this, I forgot it about when coming up with a couple of scenarios. Thanx for posting it NebHusker. . .excellent reminder!

Yes, oldtimer is up but has some players from the 30's so your Browning pick is safe.

My bad - I got so excited about finally getting to make my two picks that I sitemailed 20Ks and told him he was up instead of OLDTIMER59. Judging by 20Ks pick though, I don't think it will interfere with who OLDTIMER may choose. Like many other times in my life though, I could be wrong...
