Grabbing '28 Hornsby in round 2 cost me '53 Spahn or that loaded '08 Braves offense (my other two choices that round).

For round 3, I can jump beallendall and select 1974 Atlanta Braves. Maybe I can salvage .500 with this roster.

I now remember why I grabbed the 1928 Braves in round 2 over much better options like the 1953 Braves and 2008 Braves... It was because of the vast wasteland of Braves talent the 1923-1942 range.

So while everybody else was scraping the bottom of the barrel with their sixth round pick, I picked up a season in the '43-62 group (1948) with five usable players (starting 3B, starting OF, platoon OF, defensive replacement/pinch-hitter and very good RP). We'll see if it works out.
