That's great! It always feels good when the draft goes like you hope. Bringing your Big Mac onto my team is not what I had planned but I just couldn't pass him up. I had to draft some lesser players throughout my roster to account for him. So we shall see. A tale of two drafts

Definitely a different draft than previous ones in terms of players available & when. I'm very happy with my squad, & the draft, had to go a little cheaper at the C position with McCann, & then Madlock, but they both fit my philosophy with the hitting, & using George Foster takes up a lot of payroll, but only losing D Jax, & then a SS I wasn't ever going to lose was a big boost.

Not my Big Mac, he was tridentric's, but he's almost always good for around 50 bombs with a solid OBP.

Eager for the next run of this league.

HBD has an actual Rule 5 draft, plus an amateur draft, international signings, and 6 levels of GM decision making inside a franchise. Plenty of people willing to mentor. I enjoy SimLeague more than I did in spring because of playing both.
