Shtickless - Unless Being Dead Is A Shtick Topic

I tried hard for Louis L and Garcia in the offseason...  almost had a deal.

I don't want you to get Louis L because chances are you will be trade raping the **** out of him.

To get a talent like that, you need to pay a legit price.

I can't fault moy too much, though. I'm involved in a few conversations where I'd be moving Julian Coleman in Shtickless for more of a prospect. Granted, he's a good part of my team and I don't know that I'd have anyone to replace him, but with it being his contrat year I'm trying to see if I can get more for him now before the stretch run than whichever draft picks I'd inevitably get.

But honestly, it's tough for a team on pace for a bye to move one of its middle-of-the-order bats for a prospect. I just know the window has been closing for my division rivals, and a move like this would just extend mine. There are a few teams who could use him to win now and give me the prospect for down the line.
Pretty big difference though...  Coleman is leaving, nobody moy traded was.

I can't have everyone signed to LTCs or my second year cap won't work. I have to trade LTCs since most of my team is locked up long-term - I actually had Mesa (2nd year arby) out there in place of McGuire but bobsquad wanted McGuire. Something about my hitters chemistry is awry.... I need to shake it up now before everyone is over 30 and I get very little back.

I'm having him name his price. I had offered one he liked a lot, but he wants more. So we'll see.
LL is an incredible talent, whatever you pay for him, will be worth it

I'm not sure how going from an .860 OPS to a .640 OPS hitter at a position makes more sense because you have another similar hitter somewhere else in the lineup.

busk, I blame you for the fact that I just had to read that...
Sorry...  I just can't go around letting people be clueless.  It is a curse.
irregardless of how clueless they might be?

I still want someone to get a screen capture of that scene from Clueless and add text to it that says "LOLING WITH MY HOMIES"

Nobody needs a bat or starting pitching in $?
I'm always interested in starting pitching, but I think we established I have nothing you want in the way of prospects.
