This is utterly ridiculous. Too slow and you have no idea when your turn will be so you have to keep checking to see what's happening !!

I concur... I've been checking on this forum several times a day since it was posted... I would like to know exactly when my draft picks are happening so I think we should start the clock soon...

I third it. I'm in Japan and am not beyond setting my alarm clock if I know when my pick will be. FWIW I'm currently +13 EST. But at this rate it will soon be DST and I'll soon be +14 EST.

ok I will set up draft times then. What time is a good starting time? I'm in mountain time so my 8am is different then most 8am. How many hours do I put between picks?

we are in the 2nd round I think 30 mi. between pick starting at 9.30am eat time til 9.00 pm east time

I'm thinking 30 minutes is too short of a time. I know I can't even check the computer sparingly on tuesdays until 6MST or 8EST because of class. My big computer days are friday, saturday, and sunday nights.

We can do proxy picks easy enough since we're mostly in different eras.

I'm on the computer at work all day, so I can do proxy picks. I'd feel more comfortable if we did hour brackets, though. I do get extremly busy sometimes at work.

I have access from 6:00-7:00AM EST and 4:30-11:00PM EST and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

most progressives try to do a round a day. 30 minutes is enough time, but you can't pick ahead of your time slot unless everyone has caught up. there are only a few people conflicting with each other per round anyway. and then after the round is over everyone who missed their picks should pick.
