Is it reasonable to think that an owner could take just about any team (in a non-tarded up world) and put them in the playoffs within 5 years?

Yeah, I think so. But it's a lot easier to dick up a team than it is to build one. If you make a couple of mistakes along the way, you might be going back to square one.

Players age. Their ratings decrease. Other teams get better while you stagnate. It happens.

Well, first, you're not very smart. Second, and this is probably a by-product of the first reason, you're apparently misunderstanding ratings. If you enjoy the games despite your lack of success, no. If you yell at your wife and kids because you suck at the games, yes.

I don't plan on watching any. But, in all likelihood, I'll watch 2-4 hours of it. Inevitably, I'll be clicking channels and see a ski jump that interests me so I'll watch it for 20 minutes before something I want to watch comes on.

No. But I do think I've turned WifS into my sole time-killer at work.

She's hot but some of the photos I've seen make her look a little wide in the hips.
