The Phillies do have some depth in this draft...the hard part is weighing the right pick for right now...planning is challenging! Which is part of the fun for me, personally.

Exactly. I enjoy a theme/draft that requires some research and planning ahead! You can't just grab the best available without considering salary cap implications, that's for sure.

I'm already thinking this would be a fun draft to do at different caps, that would change things dramatically.

I'm not worried about cap, so much as positional availability. For example, a team may have a stud reliever I really want now, but if I end up with too many relievers early, I may be forced to draft some weaker position players later on, with teams I have a worse pick for.
