Assuming King James goes #1, there are 3 guys I considered at #2. I quickly narrowed it down to 2 choices, and am now 99% sure who I will take. I am not going to share his identity just yet, but I will preview my team names for your entertainment ;) I hope to stand tall with The Stilt, reach down deep with Big Dipper, play BIG like Goliath, show who's boss with Chairman of the Boards, and climb great heights like KING KONG (my proprietary nickname btw). I will notify all when I decide to reveal my pick...

Must be nice! The guy I'll be picking at 18 will be about half as good!!!!

I often volunteer to do more than I have time for, but I should have a more well distributed division model put together by the time the draft starts.

I got a solver up and running but I am not sure I modeled the problem in the most efficient way. It ran overnight and only got through ~220000 trials. This morning I stopped and it and moved the solve over to a beefier machine I don't need for anything right now. It'll be done by the time we need it at least.

i really hope KING KONG means what i think it does...id like to see that

I didn't see this anywhere but can we get a ruling on 19-20 players? They will almost surely be out by the time the leagues start but not by the time the draft starts.

Generally the rule in draft leagues is no but this is not your normal draft league.

I'm 97.6% sure that dh said if they were there when the draft was over, we could use them. If they were not when the draft finished, we could not use them. No waiting.

I'd rather be able to use the 19-20 players (which would further differentiate this from the prior draft, in addition to the un-blacklisted players) but I would hate to do the draft with it being unclear whether we'd be able to use them at the end of the draft. Depending to some extent on how the D rating shake out, that would make a pretty huge difference for several players I can think of.

It certainly seems like they will be released, but it is real weird to be starting the draft not knowing a) for sure whether they will be out and b) knowing how the players will be rated in some key categories.

I think we should start. Most of us have been eliminated
