No, he didn’t. He testified that someone claimed he pointed a gun at them and he responded with “I did?” sarcastically. The prosecutor took that and ran with it as him admitting that he pointed a gun at someone. Maybe the jury takes that as an admission of guilt or that he was lying. I don’t know. Only time will tell, but he was very clear in his testimony that he was being sarcastic when he said it.
ok so yes he did testify that he said yes when someone asked him if he pointed a gun at them but it was “sarcasm,” ok. Quite the benefit of the doubt there.
But have you often had a gun during a riot and sarcastically tell people you were pointing it at them? Weird time for sarcasm, no? Or maybe it’s a lie, like when he said he was an EMT, like when he dropped the fire extinguisher but was gonna put out a fire, etc.
Also why did he leave the property when the cops cleared the area? Why didn’t he then leave when his friend did? How did he recognize the guy in a completely different outfit? How did he know it was the same guy? What does the guys background have to do with anything?
Look, like I said, maybe he’ll get off or not, but I’m really not a fan of rooting for kids roaming the streets with guns, threateningly or not, and shooting whoever they feel threatened by. I like law and order.
