Don`t pack `em yet...if Pit can stop diving and getting pp`s...it should be a good game
Cry of the truly desparate. It's a shame that fans have to resort to lame excuses instead of the reality that the Penguins are alot better team.
While I agree that the Pens are a BETTER TEAM....The only thing that the Penguins are A LOT better at "IS AT STAYING HEALTHY" Have you checked the injured player report? The Flyers would have made a series of it if they were as healthy as the Pens. Would the Flyers win??? Probably not, but lets compare apples to apples. Congrats Flyers on a GREAT REBOUND season....Too bad the injury bug bit you in the ***.
The Penguins had a lot of injuries during the 2nd half of the season but most everyone got healthy by playoff start. What I can't figure out is why their record during that time was so good. Injuries suck, especially during the playoffs, but it happens. I agree the Flyers had a great rebound season and post season (so far---not over yet!). Knocking off Montreal was no small feat

So your saying everybody is wrong?.. lol

Anyways.. I havent seen the rest of the series to whine, but for my first game in like a month to watch last night... I see nothing has changed.. disappointing to say the least... be interesting to see what happens when Pittsburgh meets Detroit as both teams seem to get the a little preferential treatment from the NHL and the officiating crew

Now of course... we won't see that happenb, because the Flyers are going to come back

If Pittsburgh wins this series

then

the Gary Bettman will have previously arranged them to have the officials help them beat Detroit for the Stanley Cup this season.

(but i've been wrong over 90% of the time these playoffs)

Pluh-eese. Yes, injuries are a factor, as they are in every series every year. The Pens put up with theirs during the regular season, Philly was unlucky enough to get hit hard in the playoffs. To say Bettman has this arranged is just silly. (That is the most politically correct term I could use!)

My only "excuse" is wanting a do-over on the Briere signing

I'm still not comfortable with this series, I expected it to go 7 games. That was before the injuries though, but I don't see Philly going away without a fight. Next game should be a great one no matter the outcome.

I will be at that game... with a pens fan!

Anyone else notice that the actual Flyers fans are the only ones here not making excuses? --donaldjl--

I was waiting for someone to notice that.

I don't think you will hear many Flyers fans complain right now because most of us are just happy the Flyers are in the playoffs this year after the garbage we watched last year. I just hate that it is the Pens who are knocking us out, IMO it would have been easier to take if it was the Habs who did it.

jayrede I wouldn't be so down on Briere it is hard to show up when your scoring winger (Prospel) hasn't and Hartnell not crashing the net, plus the Pens D has done a great job shadowing Briere which is why he hasn't been able to do much.

Not necessarily.

You didn't post whether any of those PP opportunities (for either team) were valid or not.

I don't care how many penalties are called in a game IF they're actual penalties. Players should quit committing them.

What I do have issues about is having penalties called where they don't exist. Or calling off goals that do (like Detroit's last game) even if it favors a team I despise.

I've been moked??

Moked

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moked (Hebrew: ????, Focus) was a -wingpolitical party in Israel.

Moked came into existence during the seventh Knesset, when Maki (which had one seat, held by Shmuel Mikunis) merged with the Blue-Red Movement, which was unrepresented.

The new party ran in the 1973 elections, but won only 1.4% of the vote and one seat, which was taken by Meir Pa il. During the Knesset session the party changed its name to Moked - for Peace and Socialist Change.

Prior to the 1977 elections the party merged with Meri, the Independent Socialist Faction and some members of the Black Panthers to form the Camp of Israel. The new party won two seats, with Pa'il taking one in rotation.
